Cool Tone Floral Inspiration
Cool tone colors include purples, blues, greens. They are typically colors that evoke a sense of peace and calm, a perfect vibe for your wedding day. We've collected a few of our recent cool tone weddings to inspire your big day!
Kayly & Joe at The Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater Catholic Church
K & J wanted a PNW-forward design featuring a range of purples. We used ferns and other true green foliage to balance the ivory and purple blooms. We featured a mix of spring blooms such as ranunculus, stock, lilac, roses, sweet william, tulips, and orlaya.

Poornima & Stephen at Leach Botanical Garden
For this Indian fusion wedding at Leach Botanical Garden, we mixed in some brighter colored blooms among the cool tones to create a vibrant, festive palette. Dark purple and blue veronica and delphinium balanced out the blush peonies, purple & orange roses, and magenta snapdragon. It was a minimal greenery design so we also mixed in wax flower, sweet william, yarrow, and carnation for texture.

Ashley & Lucas at Aurora Vineyards
A romantic, purple & white wedding for A & L at Aurora Vineyards in May. We used a spectrum of lavender flowers such as roses, stock, lilac, limonium, and carnations mixed with white peonies, orlaya, and sage toned foliage.

Kamryn & Benton at Eastside Exchange
Proof that cool tones can be great in fall, too! For this September wedding we used purple scabiosa, lisianthus, roses, statice, and mint mixed with magenta-pink dahlias, blush gomphrena, and white roses. It all paired beautiful against the grey Portland skies.
