Dark & Moody Wedding Inspo
Romantic, mysterious, lush - all words that come to mind when we think of a dark and moody wedding palette. With lush forests, grey days, and industrial hot spots, the Pacific Northwest offers the perfect backdrop for this style of weddding.
We hope these weddings help inspire some ideas for your big day - whether you're hoping to showcase the gloomy days, spooky holidays, or the deep, rich tones of a moody palette!
Alice in Wonderland Inspired Industry Event at The Evergreen
Teacups, melting clocks, moody jewel tones - all these elements and more combined to bring this Alice in Wonderland inspired vision to The Evergreen in early October. We collaborated with Jenah from Your Perfect Bridesmaid and a talented team of vendors to transform The Evergreen for an industry networking event.
We created a handful of suspended installations to create a stormy and ethereal vibe. The center install over the serpentine table was created with clusters of dahlias, roses, delphinium, amaranth, carnations, and moss. The clouds surrounding the perimeter were made with baby's breath and limonium. We sourced teacups to use as pin cups for the table alongside low and long arrangements that featured scabiosa, carnations, and roses.

Halloween Spirit at Greatroom
K&J fully leaned into the Halloween spirit for their wedding at Greatroom. We covered our gothic arbor in dark foliage and deep purple & red blooms.
Guests arrived in costumes, centerpieces included black bud vases next to client-provided skulls and Halloween movie table markers, and candles & purple lighting added to the ambiance.

Moody Valentine - Styled Shoot at Easton Broad
We designed with moody jewel tones for this styled shoot/Lupus Fundraiser event at Easton Broad. We love how the colors pop against the black dress and table cloth - creating a dramatic, romantic vibe.
For the hanging chandelier, we made strings of carnations, roses, and mums in reds, pinks, and purples that tied together with the rest of the arrangements.
The team at Easton Broad even created a cocktail with butterfly pea powder - turning it a purple-y hue.

Autumnal Boho Wedding at Abernethy Center
For this fall wedding at Abernethy, S&A wanted florals that fit their burgundy and dark green color palette. We used a mix of neutral blooms such as cream roses with deeper colored flowers such as burgundy amaranth & zinnias. We love how well everything went with A's burgundy suit!

Gothic Love Story at The Victorian Belle
A & J wanted bright reds and purples for their gothic inspired wedding at Victorian Belle in October. We used red roses, a mix of red and burgundy dahlias, dark purple calla lilies, and purple carnations for a floral forward design. For their ceremony, A & J were surrounded by a floral ground arc in a moon shape.
