Forest Wedding Venues Near Portland
Sharing vows under a canopy of trees is perfectly fitting for a wedding in the Pacific Northwest. Plus, forest venues are make a great canvas for a wide array of styles - romantic, fairytale/fantasy, rustic, boho, etc. There are many beautiful outdoor spaces around Oregon and Washington, so we had to share some of our favorite forest wedding venues!
Camp Colton
Camp Colton is located 35 miles south of Portland. It's a beautiful, sprawling location with a lot of hidden treasures such as waterfalls and creeks. They have a few ceremony sites including a patio outside the gathering hall, a location among the trees, and a chapel/sanctuary as an indoor option. Just imagine dancing the night away under the stars with your favorite people!
Plus, they have multiple lodging options, such as yurts and cabins, on the property - perfect if you're looking to plan a wedding weekend!

Horning's Hideout
Located in North Plains, about 30 minutes from Portland, is Horning's Hideout. Horning's offers three sites - Creekside, Main Stage, and Lakeside. Each with a covered area, a lawn area, and a ceremony site, making it a versatile option for however you envision your day to go!
We love all the beautiful photo opportunities available at this venue. Plus, every location is a blank canvas so you have the freedom to customize as you wish!

Bridal Veil Lakes
Nestled in the trees in the Columbia Gorge is Bridal Veil Lakes. It's a gorgeous venue with lots of room and areas to explore. Have your ceremony near the lake then paddle one of their canoes around for a memorable moment. They have a patio with a tented area for your dinner and a covered pavilion to dance the night away in.

CedarVale Events
CedarVale is a woodland venue in Hubbard, OR. They have 21 acres with multiple options for your ceremony and reception spaces. They also have a couple of getting ready areas and so many great spots for photos!

McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse
At Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, you'll get those forest vibes while still being close to the city. Nestled in the trees is the Octagonal Barn - a serene reprieve from the hustle and bustle. Opt to have your ceremony inside or outside of the barn, both will provide a rustic, boho vibe.

Hoyt Arboretum - Redwood Observation Deck
Situated in the middle of towering trees is the stunning Redwood Observation Deck in Hoyt Arboretum. It's the perfect spot for an intimate wedding or elopement (accommodates 40 people standing or 25 people seated). For larger weddings, the nearby Wedding Meadow is another great option!
This is also a great location for photos if your ceremony is taking place nearby - no need to reserve the deck if you're just taking photos.
